Automating actions (Beta)

Kili provides the ability to automatically run actions when a new row is added to your board, or a row has been updated. This feature is currently in an open beta for all customers.

Here are some the actions you can take:

  1. Send an email whenever a new row is added
  2. Conduct research on a person, company or entity whenever a new row is added
  3. Push extracted to a destination whenever a new entry is added or updated

To set up an action, click 'Add column' and select the action you want to run.

When you create an action, you can link it to existing columns in your board by using "/" for the input of any action. For example, if you want to run research on a company using the 'Company name' column, hit '/' and then choose the 'Company name' column from the list. Once you've set up your action, you can choose to run it on the first 3 rows, all rows or add it without running it at all. We recommend running it on 3 rows to ensure it works as expected and then running it on all your documents.

Your actions will run whenever a new row is added or when linked columns are updated. For example, if your action is linked to a 'Customer name' column, the action will be triggered whenever you update the 'Customer name' for a row.
